There's some exciting news for both avid and casual shoppers interested in high-quality, unique items hand-crafted by skilled women entrepreneurs from all over New England -- ranging from candle and jewelry makers to woodworkers and bakers --all hitting the south shore right in Hingham.

The vibrant Boston Women’s Market, featuring more than 15 talented women makers and artists, will host in-person events once a month through December at The Launch at Hingham Shipyard, 18 Shipyard Drive, with beautiful views of the harbor as the backdrop. Haven’t heard of The Launch? It’s Hingham’s go-to shopping and eating destination right on the harbor.

The Launch is ideally located about 30 minutes south of Boston and the same distance north of Cape Cod. It's easily accessible from all major South Shore roadways, and the MBTA Water Shuttle docks right on the premises and the new Greenbush Commuter Rail line stops in town.

The markets will take place on the newly-installed spacious lawn area between the Brio condominiums and 18 Shipyard Drive, across from Menchie's Frozen Yogurt -- rain or shine.
